Islam expert: Europe well on the way to ‘Islamization’

Chad Groening OneNewsNow.comSeptember 17, 2007
A best-selling author and leading expert on Islam says that religion is well on its way to taking control of Europe — and he’s afraid that widespread violence may break out as a result.

In his new book, Religion of Peace? Why Christianity Is and Islam Isn’t, Robert Spencer, who is director of Jihad Watch, says that the war on terror is in fact a struggle against an Islamic jihad that would conquer and subjugate Western non-Muslims. He also asserts that Islam is well on its way to taking over Europe because the population has been silent for too long.

“It looks as if the problem as advanced far beyond the point of any kind of peaceful or easy resolution,” he explains. “Europe is either going to acquiesce in its Islamization and in the imposition of Islamic Sharia law, or its going to degenerate into large-scale conflict between non-Muslims who do not want to be quietly Islamized and the Muslim communities in Europe.”

Spencer says the longer Islam is allowed to expand in Europe, the more difficult it will be for non-Muslims to prevent

Implantable Microchips: NOT a Conspiracy Theory Anymore

Implantable Microchips: NOT a Conspiracy Theory Anymore
It’s getting more difficult these days to sustain the preterist view of eschatology (preterism contends that the virtually all of the “last days” events took place no later than A.D. 70) when companies are pushing to place implantable microchips within the actual bodies of people. End-time prophecy teachers have long stated that microchipping may be the fulfillment of Revelation 13:16-17:
And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man may buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
My intent is not to wrestle with the eschatological debate, but to highlight AGAIN the growing draconian measures being pushed on all of us. Years ago, skeptics dismissed people as “wacko conspiracy theorists” for warning about the coming implantable microchip. They also warned about a National ID card, which will become a reality in May of 2008.

In 2005, the FDA approved implanting microchips in humans. To date, some 2,000 people around the world have RFID chips implanted in their skin. The company VeriChip Corp. has a goal of implanting 45 million Americans with medical monitoring chips. A person’s entire medical history can be stored on the chip.

Critics claim that the next step–after National ID cards–is to to microchip the entire population with all their personal information such as banking info, driver’s info, medical info, etc. You’ve probably seen the Visa credit card commercials when a person stops the flow of business by using cash or writing a check. Everyone else just glides their credit card across the scanner and they’re done. It’s easy to see after cash and cards, a single implanted chip is the ultimate technological solution. Visa’s tagline is “Life takes faster money. Life takes Visa.”

VeriChip had enlisted Tommy Thompson to its board in hopes of promoting the program. Thompson was going to run for president in 2008, but has since dropped out. Listen to this monster argue with a smile for the microchip–this is staggering:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HiLixwNkur8

Do you honestly believe that VeriChip is going to limit this technology to medical and child safety? Isn’t financial support next? Listen to Ron Paul and a few “other” experts talk about this development: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kOMhNb6jtrg

HOW IS THIS FREEDOM??? HOW CAN WE PERMIT OUR POLITICIANS TO CONTINUE TO LIE TO US IN SAYING THAT THE WAR ON TERROR IS A WAR FOR FREEDOM? OUR FREEDOMS ARE VANISHING QUICKLY AND THE RELIGIOUS RIGHT STILL SAYS NOTHING!! EVEN SOME OF OUR OWN COLLEAGUES ARE ABSOLUTELY SILENT ON THESE ISSUES. THEY’RE ARGUING OVER FEDERAL VISION NONSENSE, POSTMODERNISM, CULTURAL RELEVANCE, THE RELIGIOUS INTENT OF THE FOUNDING FATHERS, AND RALLYING SUPPORT FOR UNJUST WAR!

There, I said it.

Florida mayor loses seat on tourism board over alleged ‘anti-homosexual’ remarks

September 4th, 2007

Praise God for men like Mayor Naugle of Fort Lauderdale, Florida for taking such a bold stand against homosexuality and its perversions. If only America had more men who had such strong Biblical convictions and was willing to wear them on his sleeve, no matter the cost.

Gary

Allie Martin and Jody Brown OneNewsNow.comSeptember 4, 2007
The mayor of Fort Lauderdale has been removed from the local tourism board because local officials feel his comments regarding homosexual activity in the area threaten the tourism industry and the billions of dollars it brings to Broward County.

Earlier this summer, Fort Lauderdale Mayor Jim Naugle apologized to parents for not realizing the extent of homosexual sex in public restrooms. He also said a pro-homosexual library should not be housed in a city building because it included pornography. (See related article)

Those comments have now cost the mayor his seat on the Tourism Development Council, a group that markets Broward County to tourists and conventions. Members of the county commission had accused the mayor of jeopardizing the area’s multibillion-dollar tourism industry.

But Naugle argues that many locals want public lewdness laws to be enforced. He says his city has become known as a popular spot for homosexuals who cruise for sex in public locations — and he wants to see that change.

“There’s been kind of an open attitude here that anything goes,” he says, “and it’s something we’re going to put a stop to. People are welcome to come to Fort Lauderdale, but they need to be respectful of our laws,” Naugle cautions.

According to the Fort Lauderdale mayor, one in five homosexual and bisexual men in the city are HIV positive and the city leads the nation in AIDS cases among homosexual men. “That’s what happens when you have too much political correctness and too much of this notion of tolerance that we have to accept everything,” he states. “It can be deadly.”

WSVN-TV in Fort Lauderdale reports that prior to the county commissioners’ unanimous decision to remove Mayor Naugle, he stated that removing him from the Tourism Development Council would not silence him. “My faith says that homosexuality is a sin,” Naugle said. “One of the things my father taught me is it’s not always about the money; it’s about doing what’s right.”

Top Pentagon Officers Face Discipline for Endorsing Christianity

Top Pentagon Officers Face Discipline for Endorsing Christianity

Seven high-ranking officers, including four generals, could face discipline for what the Pentagon considers their promotion of Christianity.
Maj. Gen. Jack Catton of the U.S. Air Force offers a testimonial in a promotional video for the Christian Embassy, a Washington-based Christian group.
The Pentagon inspector general found the seven officers to be engaged in misconduct when they appeared in a promotional fundraiser video for the evangelical group Christian Embassy three years ago, according to OneNewsNow.

Christian Embassy was founded by the late Dr. Bill Bright of Campus Crusade for Christ and ministers to diplomats, government leaders and military officers. The ministry holds prayer meetings each Wednesday morning at the Pentagon.

The officers were said to be in uniform at the Pentagon when they expressed military approval and support of the evangelical ministry in the video, according to The Associated Press.

The report said none of the officers asked for or received approval from superiors and recommended “appropriate corrective action” to be considered against them, according to AP.

A retired Army officer who had also attended the Christian Embassy Wednesday prayer meeting believes it’s hypocritical for the Pentagon to consider disciplinary action against the officers.

“There have been others in very senior positions, both in and out of uniform, who have gone to some of these Islamic centers and have bent over backwards to accommodate Islamists,” said retired U.S. Army Lt. Col. Bob Maginnis to OneNewsNow Friday.

He pointed to the Deputy Secretary of Defense Gordon England who in early June joined the dedication of a new Islamic prayer center at the Quantico Marine Corps Base.

“[A]s far as I’m concerned, [he was] giving tacit endorsement of Islam just by his presence and making a formal visit,” said Maginnis. “And if he can’t tolerate a few generals and admirals stating, because they’re Christians, they think it’s a good idea that you promote Bible studies and Christian speakers into the Pentagon, I find that hypocritical and certainly an unfortunate circumstance.”

Maginnis thinks that the group Military Religious Freedom Foundation might be behind the pressure to investigate the officers.

“This is an ACLU-type hit on the Pentagon insisting that the inspector general conduct an investigation to get to the bottom of whether or not generals improperly used their influence with regard to a particular ministry,” he said.

The officers currently still face potential discipline for violating ethics rules by helping Christian Embassy.

Domestic Use of Spy Satellites To Widen Law Enforcement Getting New Access To Secret Imagery

August 18th, 2007

My son was laughed out of one of his Sunday school classes 10 years ago because he dared to mention the possibility of the federal government being able to watch our every move in our homes. After all what purpose would our “benevolent” government have to look in on our home life? Well the future is here and my son is the one laughing underneath his concern for our loss of more freedom. We must throw out everyone of our elected officials. I hear nothing coming out of Washington in protest. Hopefully we have not waited too long. When we trust men more than God, this is what we get.

The Bush administration has approved a plan to expand domestic access to some of the most powerful tools of 21st-century spycraft, giving law enforcement officials and others the ability to view data obtained from satellite and aircraft sensors that can see through cloud cover and even penetrate buildings and underground bunkers.

A program approved by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and the Department of Homeland Security will allow broader domestic use of secret overhead imagery beginning as early as this fall, with the expectation that state and local law enforcement officials will eventually be able to tap into technology once largely restricted to foreign surveillance.

Administration officials say the program will give domestic security and emergency preparedness agencies new capabilities in dealing with a range of threats, from illegal immigration and terrorism to hurricanes and forest fires. But the program, described yesterday by the Wall Street Journal, quickly provoked opposition from civil liberties advocates, who said the government is crossing a well-established line against the use of military assets in domestic law enforcement.

Although the federal government has long permitted the use of spy-satellite imagery for certain scientific functions — such as creating topographic maps or monitoring volcanic activity — the administration’s decision would provide domestic authorities with unprecedented access to high-resolution, real-time satellite photos.

They could also have access to much more. A statement issued yesterday by the Department of Homeland Security said that officials envision “more robust access” not only to imagery but also to “the collection, analysis and production skills and capabilities of the intelligence community.”

The beneficiaries may include “federal, state, local and tribal elements” involved in emergency preparedness and response or “enforcement of criminal and civil laws.” The “tribal” reference was to Native Americans who conduct semiautonomous law enforcement operations on reservations.

“These systems are already used to help us respond to crises,” Charles Allen, the chief intelligence officer for the Department of Homeland Security, said in a telephone interview. “We anticipate that we can also use it to protect Americans by preventing the entry of dangerous people and goods into the country, and by helping us examine critical infrastructure for vulnerabilities.”

Domestic security officials already have access to commercial satellite imagery, including the high-definition photographs available from Google and other private vendors. But spy satellites offer much greater resolution and provide images in real time, said Jeffrey T. Richelson, an expert on space-based surveillance and a senior fellow with the National Security Archive in Washington.

“You also can get more coverage more often,” Richelson said. “These satellites will cover during the course of their orbits the entire United States. They will be operating 24 hours a day and using infrared cameras at night.”

Other nonvisual capabilities can be provided by aircraft-based sensors, which include ground-penetrating radar and highly sensitive detectors that can sense electromagnetic activity, radioactivity or traces of chemicals, military experts said. Such radar can be used to find objects hidden in buildings or bunkers.

One possible use of the technology would be to spot staging areas along smuggling routes used to transport narcotics or illegal immigrants, officials said. In a handful of cases, security officials have requested — and obtained — similar help, but only on a case-by-case basis.

Allen said the agreement with the DNI grew out of the general impetus for wider intelligence-sharing in the aftermath of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, when administration and intelligence officials began examining the possibility of increasing officials’ access to secret data as a means of strengthening the nation’s defenses.

The program was formally authorized in May in a memo by Director of National Intelligence Mike McConnell to Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff. The two officials have been coordinating for months, as recommended in a 2005 study headed by Keith Hall, then the director of the National Reconnaissance Office.

Hall’s group cited an “urgent need” for expanding sharing of remote sensing data to domestic groups other than scientific researchers. “Opportunities to better protect the nation are being missed,” the report said.

Under the new program, the DHS will create a subordinate agency to be known as the National Applications Office. The new office, which has gained the backing of congressional intelligence and appropriations committees, is responsible for coordinating requests for access to intelligence by civilian agencies. Previously, an agency known as the Civilian Applications Committee facilitated access to satellite imagery for geologic study.

Oversight of the department’s use of the overhead imagery data would come from officials in the Department of Homeland Security and from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and would consist of reviews by agency inspectors general, lawyers and privacy officers. “We can give total assurance” that Americans’ civil liberties will be protected, Allen said. “Americans shouldn’t have any concerns about it.”

But civil liberties groups quickly condemned the move, which Kate Martin, director of the Center for National Security Studies, a nonprofit activist group, likened to “Big Brother in the sky.” “They want to turn these enormous spy capabilities, built to be used against overseas enemies, onto Americans,” Martin said. “They are laying the bricks one at a time for a police state.”

Steven Aftergood, director of the Project on Government Secrecy for the Federation of American Scientists, said that the data could be useful but that oversight for the program was woefully inadequate. Enhanced access “shouldn’t be adopted at all costs because it comes with risk to privacy and to the integrity of our political institutions,” he said.

What Does “Fed Pumps $68 Billion into Banking System” Actually Mean?

August 13th, 2007

This is a two part series that is a must read for all of you if you desire to be aware of disastrous American money and credit policy and if you desire to keep your financial head above water. And I certainly hope you have a desire for both or you will drown like a large percentage of our fellow countrymen are all ready doing. It may be too late to stem the tied of our nation, although we must not give up trying, but you can at least bolster your own financial position before disaster arrives. Of course to do so you must have the necessary information to do so, which your “manipulated” media is not about to give to you. Devvy not only has the design well figured out, but she also a good handle on the cure, although it means diligence on our part.

Last week saw a bucking bronco ride in the stock market. The American people read headlines such as: Fed vows, then pumps massive funds to calm markets and Fed’s $38 billion helps markets. I have written many columns the past several years as have hundreds of others warning of the coming financial tsunami. Far too many people scoffed at all the warnings, continued to rack up massive debt and pursued the American dream of owning their own home when their financial portfolio and credit history simply could not float the big boat they were taking out into the ocean. The first of the dominos began to teeter earlier in the week: Aug. 6 (Bloomberg) — “American Home Mortgage Investment Corp. became the second-biggest residential lender to file for bankruptcy protection this year, adding to signs that late payments have spread to homeowners with good credit records.” Please don’t stop here read on.

Here is the real Che Guevara

July 14th, 2007

CHE GUEVARA: PC ICON

By Larry Pratt

Che Guevara’s image graces many a T-shirt worn in the US. Wearing one of these seems to be intended as a statement that it is good to be free of the crushing norms of a civilization tricked up by dead white men.

The T-shirt image depicts a long-haired 1960’s hippy gazing steadfastly into the future.

The truth is, Ernesto “Che” Guevara, the one-time number three in Fidel Castro’s thugocracy, would have had a guy looking like Guevara’s resemblance arrested and sent to a concentration camp known by their acronym: UMAP (Military Units for the Promotion of Production). Guevara was resolutely against rock and roll and its long-haired adherents. Long after his demise his grandson was rousted by the Cuban police for being a rocker.

Che is revered today as one who was above materialism, but he sure did not get that memo when he stole one of the largest mansions in Cuba. While he remained in Cuba, he lived and entertained in the lap of luxury.

As Minister of the Economy, Che drove Cuba into the ground. The country had been more prosperous than France, but in a short period of time, it became a place even fleeing Haitians avoided. This was not a failure in socialist terms. By impoverishing the whole country, the thugocracy ensured that there would be much less opportunity to oppose them.

The objective of Che and the Castro brothers was to monopolize power. In addition to bankrupting the country, gun confiscations were carried out the day after seizing power. As the Nazis before them in Germany, the Cuban communists used the gun registration lists of the prior government for rounding up privately owned guns.

would begin for the day. The names of the accused were the same as those on the execution lists. Che’s judicial philosophy was captured in this quote: “I don’t need proof to execute a man I only need proof that it’s necessary to execute him.” (cited in Exposing the Real Che Guevara by Humberto Fontova, p. xxiii)

How ironic that the ignorant glitterati of the West so idolize Che. For example, rocker Carlos Santana (a man who would have been jailed by Che) displayed his IQ in public with this whopper: “Che is all about love and compassion, man.” (Fontova, photo caption)

The good thing about Che, if it can be put that way, is that he knew nothing about military tactics and strategy. For that matter, neither did the Castro brothers. Had it not been for fawning media coverage (”I got my job through the New York Times,” Castro could have said), even the incompetent Batista army could not have been overcome.

Fontova found much proof that when Che’s utility in Cuba had come to an end, this potential rival was “volunteered” to the Communist insurgency of Laurence Kabila in the Congo. The one thing Che was good at when combat overtook his headlong flight was getting his men killed. Soon after Che came to “lead” the Africans, they would have nothing to do with him.

Che decided he would start from scratch and tried to make Bolivia the next Cuba. In a stroke of “brilliance” Che divided his shrinking band of warriors in the Bolivian jungle. They were totally lost. From deserters and a few survivors it is clear that they were wandering in circles. It seems that the city boys could not even relate a compass to a map. At one point the two valiant bands of wanderers even shot at each other.

When the Bolivians caught up with Che, he had earlier that morning exhorted his remaining guerillas to fight to the end. When Che alone and fleeing to safety spotted Bolivian soldiers, he threw his guns down and pled for his life. The Bolivians wisely shot him soon after and well before the Western press could make his trial into an Historic Moment.

The next time you see someone sporting a Che Guevara T-shirt, you might want to share the real Che with the wearer.

Exodus of Christians hits Baghdad district

July 7th, 2007

Christians are being forced from their homes in Iraq right under the noses of American security forces. Either America must plan on staying on to police Iraq with a great many more forces than it now has there or there will be constant turmoil in Iraq, until another insane power hungry tyrant takes over. This is another no win situation for America and we must count our loses, get out, and quit trying to secure the rest of the world for so called democracy, while stopping aiding and abetting tyrannical, socialist nations. America’s foreign policy, for the past several decades, has been predicated on establishing a One World Order with a few elite men in control of an international system that eliminates nation states. We must wake up and let our current elected officials know of our opposition and then elect men to office who will stand strictly on Biblical principles of nation to nation relations, or we, the citizens of America will become the citizens of a new Tower of Babel.

Exodus of Christians hits Baghdad district
Ex-residents say US response to purge was lacking
By Ned Parker, Los Angeles Times | July 5, 2007

BAGHDAD — The two men knocked on Abu Salam’s door on a Friday morning. He was one of the last remaining Christians on his block.

“Peace be upon you,” they said, and Abu Salam, a man in his 50s, repeated the greeting.
The pair, one fat and the other thin, spoke politely. Both were clean-shaven and wore slacks and button-down shirts.
“You are now aware the neighborhood of Muwallamin belongs to the Islamic State of Iraq,” the bigger man said. “We have three conditions you can accept: You can pay a tax, become a Muslim, or you can leave your house and we will help you take out your furniture.”
“We’ll let you make up your mind.”
“Peace be upon you,” the men repeated as Abu Salam watched them head back toward the street.
Within hours, Abu Salam and his family left their neighborhood of more than 50 years. They joined an exodus that has all but emptied Dora, a large district in south Baghdad, of its once-thriving Christian population.
Abu Salam, who spoke on condition that his real name not be used, citing fears for his safety, is staying elsewhere in Baghdad for now.
“People will leave if things don’t get better. It is chaos,” he said. “If there is no imminent solution, Iraq is finished.”
Christian leaders say 500 families left Dora in April and May. The US military concedes that a large number of Christians were uprooted but says the number is not that high. The United Nations’ refugee agency said it counted at one location 100 families that had fled Dora.
The flight of Dora’s Christians is an example of how the initial phase of the US security crackdown has failed to establish security and stop sectarian purging in Baghdad’s neighborhoods.
The US military conducted a major clearing operation in Dora last fall, then largely pulled out, turning security over to Iraqi forces. Sunni Arab militants with ties to Al Qaeda in Iraq quickly reestablished themselves and late last year began harassing Christians. A second US sweep in early winter failed to loosen the militants’ grip on the district.
In interviews, displaced Christians described a civilian population too terrified of Al Qaeda to ask Americans for help. They said that even after the Baghdad troop buildup started in February, US soldiers were rarely present in some neighborhoods and often had no idea what to look for.
Major Kurt Luedeke, the US military spokesman for Dora, said US officials were caught off guard by the campaign against Christians in the area.
“We knew it was going on; we just didn’t know how widespread it was,” he said.
Iraq’s senior Christian politician, Younadam Kanna, said the military didn’t launch an offensive against militants in Dora until May 25, although the campaign to drive out the district’s Christians had begun in earnest in late April.
“There weren’t enough forces,” Kanna said. “The multinational forces are isolated from the people. . . . They don’t know who is who.”
In response to the mass displacements, the US military has strengthened its presence in the area. In a bid to contain Al Qaeda supporters and prevent further neighborhood purges, the US Army has erected concrete barriers and walled off certain streets.
Troops are surveying every home, collecting photographs, fingerprints, and retinal scans of all military-age males. With the additional troops, the US Army says it can patrol every neighborhood in Dora, sometimes several times a day.
The Christian community’s troubles in Dora began in autumn 2004, when Sunni militants bombed churches and kidnapped people. But Christians’ lives took the sharpest turn for the worse in October after Al Qaeda and allied groups declared an Islamic State of Iraq.
By January, the Islamic State’s proclamations appeared on walls and were circulated in leaflets. Dora residents said some of the fliers proclaimed that women were required to wear veils; shorts were banned; trousers were forbidden for men; and cellphones were prohibited for women.
“They issued laws and decrees like a real state,” said Wardiya Yussef, who left Dora in April after a cousin was shot on the street.
As Al Qaeda supporters asserted their muscle, Iraqis were reluctant to give information to the Americans. It was a bitter reversal from the period last fall when military sweeps in Dora had briefly restored stability. In that regard, too, Dora fits a broader pattern in which civilians have watched US troops come and go, seldom staying long enough to establish lasting security.
That lack of constancy has bedeviled US efforts in Iraq, said Stephen Biddle, a military analyst at the Council on Foreign Relations.
“Until local civilians come to believe that you’ll be there long enough to protect them from reprisals, and that you’re stronger than the militants . . . they won’t trust you well enough to risk offering tips and information.”

INDEPENDENCE NOW AND FOREVER

July 4th, 2007

If we are to remain an independent free nation we must listen carefully to men such as Pastor Baldwin and then act as our Founding Fathers, doing all within our power to stop the treasonous acts of our “leaders”. We must no longer sit back ignoring their tyrannical acts, thinking things aren’t really that bad.
We must diligently strive to build God’s Kingdom here on earth. No longer trust the intrenched establishment players of the two major parties, no matter what our foolish Christian brothers say. We must find men truly sold out to Christ, who will fight for His truths, no matter the consequences, and then do all we possible can to get them voted to positions of civil authority. We can no longer remain complacent, unless of course your God given responsibility to bring all areas of your life into dominion to Christ means nothing to you.

INDEPENDENCE NOW AND FOREVER

By Pastor Chuck Baldwin
July 3, 2007
NewsWithViews.com
On this Independence Day, it behooves us to recall the principles of America’s founding, especially in light of the ongoing attempt by today’s political and commercial leaders to merge the United States into a hemispheric government. In fact, the clarion call for independence is just as fundamental, just as revolutionary as it was 230 years ago.

Regarding the signing of the Declaration of Independence John Adams said, “[Independence Day] will be the most memorable epoch in the history of America. I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary festival. It ought to be commemorated as the Day of Deliverance by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires and illuminations, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forevermore.”

Adams went on to say, “You will think me transported with enthusiasm, but I am not. I am well aware of the toil and blood and treasure that it will cost us to maintain this Declaration, and support and defend these States. Yet through all the gloom I can see the rays of ravishing light and glory; I can see that the end is more than worth all the means, that posterity will triumph in that day’s transaction, even though we should rue it, which I trust in God we shall not.”

Indeed, the signers of America’s Declaration of Independence endured the sacrifice of toil and blood. Pertaining to the lives of the signers, David Limbaugh writes, “Of those 56 who signed the Declaration of Independence, nine died of wounds or hardships during the war. Five were captured and imprisoned, in each case with brutal treatment. Several lost wives, sons or entire families. One lost his thirteen children. Two wives were brutally treated. All were at one time or another the victims of manhunts and driven from their homes. Twelve signers had their homes completely burned. Seventeen lost everything they owned.”

Yes, America’s Declaration of Independence, which is our nation’s birth certificate, was purchased at a very high price. Rightly did its primary author, Thomas Jefferson, invoke God’s name no less than four times in the Declaration. Without God, our struggle for independence and freedom would have surely failed!

Jefferson, along with the vast majority of America’s founders, knew that freedom was first the gift of God, not the accomplishment of men. He further understood that man’s law must be subordinate to the natural laws of God.

Therefore, with an appeal to Heaven for the “rectitude of [their] intentions,” America’s Founding Fathers courageously forged a document that would put their own lives at risk, but would also change the course of history.

The question now is, “How long can we maintain our nation’s independence?” The forces of global government seem to dominate both major parties in Washington, D.C., most corporate boardrooms, and most newsrooms (including the Fox News Channel).

In fact, hemispheric or regional government never had a more powerful and committed ally than President George W. Bush. Mark my words, if and when America loses its independence, it will have been G.W. Bush that led the way in making it happen. I will even be so bold as to say that G.W. Bush is the worst enemy American independence has had since old King George III of England!

Even as I write, Bush is pushing forward with his intentions to merge the United States into a trilateral government with Mexico and Canada. This is why he lobbied so intently for the just-defeated amnesty bill for illegal aliens. To George W. Bush, there is no such thing as an illegal alien, because he has already agreed to unite the three countries into one.

If the United States is going to maintain its independence and freedom much beyond the year 2010 (the year Bush’s new North American Union is scheduled to be in place), it will only be because millions of freedom-loving Americans are willing to fight for it.

Both John Adams and Thomas Jefferson died on July 4, 1826. Daniel Webster gave the eulogy for both men on August 2. Included in his remarks on that notable day were these words: “It [the Declaration of Independence] is my living sentiment, and by the blessing of God, it shall be my dying sentiment. Independence now, and independence forever.”

To Webster’s words, I say a hearty AMEN! I promise no loyalty to the North American Union, to the United Nations, or to any other brand of global government. When the day comes that I am required to submit to any form of global authority, I will be an outlaw! There is no freedom without independence, and there is no independence without eternal vigilance. To my dying breath I will say with Daniel Webster, “Independence now, and independence forever!”

WHY HAMAS WON

June 29th, 2007

This article by Mr. Peters says a great deal about Christianitys demise around the world. We are not fanatics for Christ. We have lost that faith unto death. We fear death and are not willing to sacrifice our lives for the Kingdom of God. I am not talking about an armed revolution, I’m referring to the battle of faiths. The church has become timid and has lost it’s zeal for Christ. It is too busy syncretizing with the world instead of opposing it. And others sit idly by waiting to be raptured out of this evil world instead of overturning it. Fellow Christians we must meet this corrupt culture head on with God’s word, our two-edged sword, and cut it’s false ideas to shreds. We are at WAR! We must take our calling seriously and and storm the gates of hell trusting in God’s promise that hell’s gates shall not prevail against us. He has already won the victory for us on Calvary’s bloody cross. All we need do is be faithful and obedient to His word bringing all areas of our life into submission to Him. Evil seems to prevail because we have grown lazy and fat. We have been lulled to sleep by this world’s allurements. They are nothing but facades to take us out of the battle. WE MUST BECOME FANATICS FOR CHRIST OR AMERICA WILL BE TOSSED UPON THE HEAP OF DEAD AND FORGOTTEN NATIONS.

June 19, 2007 — HAMAS won its shut-out victory in Gaza with alarming ease.
And the reason Hamas won is even more alarming: Fanaticism trumps numbers.

You’ll hear no end of explanations for the terrorist triumph: Hamas was
backed by Iran; Gaza is Hamas’ base of support; some Fatah units ran out of
ammunition . . .

All true. And all secondary factors.

Fatah’s security forces in Gaza outnumbered the Hamas gunmen. Fatah had
stockpiles of weapons and military gear (now in Hamas’ arsenal). Fatah even
had the quiet backing of Israel and America.

And Fatah folded like a pup tent in a tornado.

Hamas won because its fighters are religious fanatics ready to die for their
cause. Fatah runs an armed employment agency under the banner of Palestinian
nationalism. Most of the latter’s security men are on the payroll because
relatives or ward pols got them jobs. And they want to stay alive to collect
their wages.

The result was predictable. Our government pretended otherwise. Now hairs
should be standing up on the backs of thousands of necks, from the White
House to the Green Zone.

Yes, Iraq is more complex than Gaza. But once you pierce the surface
turbulence and look deep, the similarities are chilling: Iraq’s security
forces do include true patriots – but most of the troops and cops just want
a job, or were ordered to join up by a sheik or a mullah, or are gathering
guns until their faction calls.

The al-Qaeda-in-Iraq terrorists, the core members of Muqtada al-Sadr’s Mahdi
Army and the hard-line Sunni ghazis are willing to die for the victory of
their faction and their faith. They believe they’re doing Allah’s will. It
gives them a strength we rush to explain away.

The raw numbers suggest that Iraq’s fanatics don’t stand a chance. The
government has a far greater numerical advantage than did Fatah. But numbers
often mislead analysts during insurgencies: Iraq’s government wouldn’t last
a week without U.S. troops.

The lesson from Gaza is that such wars are neither waged nor won by the
majority of the population. A tiny fraction of the populace, armed and
determined, can destroy a fragile government and seize power.

Polls showing that most Iraqis “want peace” and don’t support the extremists
only deceive us (because we want to be deceived). It wouldn’t matter if 99
percent of the Iraqis loved us like free falafel, if we’re unwilling to
annihilate the fraction of 1 percent of the population with the weapons and
will to dictate the future to the rest.

At the height of last week’s fighting in Gaza, one Palestinian in 300
carried a weapon in support of Hamas – a third of one percent of the
population. Now Hamas rules 1.5 million people.

Numbers still matter, of course. But strength of will can overcome hollow
numbers. And nothing – nothing – gives men a greater strength of will than
religious fanaticism.

We don’t want to hear it. Secular virtues were supposed to triumph. They
didn’t, but we still can’t let go of our dream of a happy-face, godless
world where nobody quarrels.

Our refusal to acknowledge the unifying – and terrifying – power of
extremist religion has deep roots. As academics rejected and derided faith
in the last century, even the Thirty Years’ War – the horrible climax of
Europe’s wars of religion – was reinvented as a dynastic struggle, or a
fight for hegemony, or a class struggle.

But the Thirty Years’ War was about faith. All the other factors were in
play, but the core issue, from the Protestant coup in Prague in 1618 to the
Peace of Westphalia in 1648, was religious identity. And the atrocities
committed on both sides make Iraq look like amateur hour: Wars of religion
always demand blood sacrifice. (It was a compromise of bloody exhaustion
that ended the Thirty Years War.)

Our problem is that, of those who rise in government, few have witnessed the
power of revelation or caught a life-changing glimpse of the divine. They
simply can’t imagine that others might be willing to die for all that
mumbo-jumbo. Our convenience-store approach to faith leaves us numb to the
passion of our enemies.

The true believer always beats the feckless attendee. The best you can hope
for is that the extremist will eventually defeat himself.

And that does leave us some hope: Fanatics inevitably over-reach, as al
Qaeda’s Islamo-fascists have done in Iraq, alienating those who once saw
them as allies. But the road to self-destruction can be a long one: The
people of Iran want change, but the fanatics have the guns. And sorry,
folks: Fanatics with guns beat liberals with ideas.

Faith is the nuclear weapon of the fanatic. And there’s not going to be a
religious “nuclear freeze.” It doesn’t matter how many hearts and minds you
win, if you don’t defeat the zealots with the muscles.
